Loughrea Golf Club

Loughrea Golf Club is long recognized as one of the finest Parkland courses in the country, with a par 71 measuring 5825m off the blue tees. Athenry Golf Club

Athenry Golf Club is a mixture of parkland and heathland built on a limestone base against the backdrop of a large forest giving excellent drainage and remaining playable all year round. The course is located just 5 minutes off the new M6 Dublin to Galway Motorway.   www.athenrygolfclub.net

Dartfield Equestrian Centre

Dartfield is set in 350 acres of parkland and visitors are welcome to explore our walking trails, see the farm animals and take part in the many activities available, which include horse riding, sheep dog demonstrations, archery or clay pigeon shooting. This is the only museum in the world dedicated to Irish horses, Connemara ponies and Irish dogs.   

Turoe Pet Farm and Leisure Park

Slieve Aughty Riding Centre

Slieve Aughty Riding Centre in the west of Ireland offers horse riding and donkey walking, kid’s birthday parties, and pony rides for seasonal festivals or for the fun! Coole Park

Coole Park was the centre of the Irish Literary Revival and former home of Lady Gregory. It is a nature reserve of approximately 1000acre located a few miles west of Gort. Co. Galway. Wildlife Service Wildlife Service, part of the Department of Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht. The walled garden contains an autograph tree, a copper beech that is engraved with initials of many of the leading figures of the Irish Literary Revival  including William Butler Yeats, Edward Martyn, George Bernard Shaw, John Millington Synge and Seán O’Casey   www.coolepark.ie
